Amanda Lytle, Psy.D.

Approach to Therapy

Dr. Lytle’s approach to therapy is very client-centered and individualized, while also being evidence based. She has specialized training in substance use and trauma focused therapy.

Please note that Dr. Lytle is currently practicing telemedicine due to COVID-19.

She believes that therapy should emphasize meeting each person where he or she is in his or her journey. Dr. Lytle works collaboratively with clients to form treatment goals to help learn effective ways to cope with stress, manage difficult emotions and communicate well with others.  Finally, she understands the importance of working with clients' additional providers, such as psychiatrists or general practitioners, to provide the best and most comprehensive care possible.

If you are looking for help, please contact Dr. Lytle at 516-331-1560 or DrAmandaLytle@gmail.com to schedule a complimentary phone consultation or first appointment.
